There are WOODS with snowdrops, crocus, daffodils and
bluebells to name just a few in the spring and following
on with varied flora throughout the summer, autumn and
winter which makes a ready haven for our red squirrels
and the WILD GRASSED AREAS with ground nesting birds,
a profusion of wild flowers including several orchid species.
A truly rural landscape with fleeting views of the beautiful
western fells of Bassenthwaite, Buttermere and Ennerdale
combines to give restful appeal.
